Heatsafe Heating Ltd was founded in 2011 by Directors Dougie and Graeme, who had both commenced their professional journeys as apprentices within the heating industry. Their subsequent years of experience at one of the largest heating firms in the United Kingdom provided them with extensive technical knowledge and invaluable customer service skills. With this expertise, they established Heatsafe Heating Ltd to serve Scotlands central belt, driven by a shared vision to offer clients excellent value and exemplary service standards. Our approach, which we call the Heatsafe way, ensures that we operate beyond the expectations of a typical heating company. It is this commitment that has enabled our business to grow through referrals and recommendations from satisfied customers.Dougie brings over two decades of practical experience in heating and plumbing. Having trained as a pipe fitter and later as a Scottish Gas apprentice, he achieved his ACS gas qualification and worked as a service and repair engineer in Falkirk before co-founding the company. Graemes career began as a thermal insulation apprentice before he pursued further qualifications in electrical engineering. Joining Scottish Gas in 2004, he obtained his ACS certification and was awarded Engineer of the Year shortly afterwards. His career in service and repair across Glasgow prepared him to establish Heatsafe Heating Ltd alongside Dougie.

Dougie has more than 20 years experience in the heating and plumbing trade, his passion and experience really shines through. Having completed his pipe fitting apprenticeship SVQ Level 3 city and guilds straight from school. Dougie then gained experience working as a foreman in London. In 2004 after working away from home for years, Dougie decided to start an apprenticeship with at Scottish Gas, gaining his NICEIC ACS gas qualification. From there he worked as a service and repair engineer with Scottish Gas covering Falkirk until 2011 before he started up Heatsafe Heating Ltd.
Graeme
Director & Gas Engineer
Graeme left school straight into an apprenticeship as a Thermal Insulation engineer. After qualifying with a SVQ level 3 city and guilds Graeme decided to go back to college where he completed a HND in electrical engineering. In 2004 he started his apprenticeship with Scottish Gas where he gained his NICEIC ACS gas qualification. A year later Graeme won Scottish Gass newly qualified engineer of the year award beating off stiff competition from all over Scotland. Graeme worked as a service and repair engineer covering Glasgow until 2011 before he started up Heatsafe Heating Ltd.

What an amazing service from the engineers who swapped our old condemned boiler for a new Combi Boiler. It was really quick and they left my house neat and tidy and with a full run through of the new boiler and controls.
Such a professional and friendly service and even from the beginning when deciding on the boiler type and finding one that suited our budget, I just felt that they were on my side and did not push a sale.
Communication by phone and email were great which gave me confidence that they were a well run company.

After being let down not once but twice by a so called reliable heating engineer i decided to contact heatsafe for a quote for a new boiler, Graeme came out to check what was involved and told me what would be happening when he came to start the work and sent me the quotes. We decided to go ahead with the work and two and a half days after starting it we had our new heating system up and running, I would recommend this company to anyone thinking about new heating or boiler, very professional and I'm one happy customer

After our boiler packed in we contacted a few different companies for quotes on replacing our boiler and flushing our radiators. This company was by far the best. The quote they gave us was very reasonable which also included removal and disposal of our old boiler, fit of new Hive Smart Control and fit of carbon monoxide detectors to name a few. They said it would take 1-2 days for the work to be completed but they had it done and dusted in around 6 hours with little disruption to our house and they never left a trace of dust or debris behind. We would happily recommend this company to anyone!

I contacted Heatsafe Heating Ltd when my boiler had broken down. They came highly recommended from two separate family members. They were very quick to give me a quote and had the boiler replaced three days after me contacting them. Thanks to Siobhn for responding to my query so quickly and giving me a next day appointment. Thanks to Graeme and Harry for replacing the boiler (they left the house clean and tidy following this) and explaining how to work the new boiler and new thermostat. I was recommended Heatsafe from a colleague at work when the boiler in my new flat needed replacing. Graeme was able to attend in quick time to offer me a free quote and was very thorough and the quote was ready very soon after. I decided to go through with the boiler installation and I was very pleased I did. It can be quite difficult for me to get time off work but Graeme was able to give me accurate availability times so I could work around it. Dougie and Graeme both visited to complete the installation and I am very pleased with the result and the they have been great in answering my questions post installation.

Cannot fault Graeme or Dougie's work. From the moment they arrived exactly at the time arranged, they worked in unison with each other to provide an excellent service. They work to high standards which you can see by the materials they use and the way they clean up.

Contacted Dougie and his team on a Monday and they were there for a look at the problem Tuesday 830am. Dougie has a great manner and is very skilled also. This was tricky job as this was for my Uncle Falkirk and I live in Hampshire (not next door). Dougie gave us a quote within a day and within 4 days and a agreed a date to start. Started on time, finished on time and took care with the installation as my Uncle is housebound. Great Service, Excellent experience and Dougie is now my go to guy for all things heating in the future. Cant recommend him highly enough. Best Wishes Dougie keep doing what you are doing 10 Stars :)

Excellent service from Dougie and his team . I phoned for a quote for a boiler as mine was broken . Dougie arrived on time the following day. Then emailed a quote to me the following day. The guys arrived on time after kindly fitting me in, a few days later, to install my new boiler. The job was to a high standard and finished within the day .As stated. Dougie and the team were polite and courteous at all times. I would definitely recommend Heatsafe Heating to my friends and family .

Dougie and his team arrived on time to remove our old boiler + water tank and install a new combi boiler, which they did effortlessly and with no mess.All the work was carried out to a professional standard and within all COVID guidelines. I contacted Heatsafe as our existing boiler has broken down. I received a phone call and was very quickly given a quote. We decided to go ahead and the new boiler, with a few chosen extras, was fitted today. Both Dougie and Graeme were extremely polite, helpful, courteous and professional. They covered our floors and worktops in the kitchen, and when they had finished they cleared away any mess and wiped down and sanitised our surfaces. We now have a lovely warm house and plenty hot water. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Graeme, Dougie and Marc have just replaced our boiler and were amazing from start to finish. They went above and beyond, working late on a Friday to get the hot water back on for our young family. The big company we had a maintenance contract with were completely useless so we are extremely glad to have found the guys at Heatsafe, they definitely saved the day. Reliable, friendly, punctual and tidy, no hesitations at all in recommending them.

Over the past 5 years I have required the assistance of a heating engineer a few times and was fortunate enough to find Heatsafe Heating.
They are reliable, affordable and professional. They provided a great service, completing the agreed work on time and within budget. While in our home, they were friendly and very tidy too! I can't recommend them more highly and will have them back for scheduled servicing of my boiler.
